03/20/2020 - NEW UPDATE Regarding COVID-19 Response.


Dear Valued Clients and Partners,


We regret to inform you that, RDI Diamonds has been mandated to close temporarily by the state of New York. Effective 3/23/20 thru 4/6/20. We are in unprecedented times and decisions like this are never easy to make. It is our wish that all remain healthy, positive and uplifted.

As a business we have taken all the recommended extra precautions, but the word from experts and authorities is abundantly clear: we need to exercise social distancing in order to slow the spread of the virus and flatten the curve. The longer it takes the virus to spread, the better the odds of our healthcare system being able to handle it.

That being said, we have taken the necessary steps that will allow our security staff to receive shipments you have sent back to us March 23-27th. Additionally, our sales staff will be working from home and able to answer questions and help in any way we can during this temporary shutdown.

Lastly, like you, we are family run business facing tough times. We would greatly appreciate any and all payments you can make toward outstanding invoices. We are extending a courtesy 2% discount on all outstanding invoices, regardless of the due date, that you make to us via ACH PAYMENT ONLY, by Wednesday, March 25th. Please contact your account manager for the ACH form to be sent over (discount not eligible through credit card payments).

The bottom line, we appreciate your partnership and we will get through this, TOGETHER!

03/17/2020 - We’re Here For You! Here’s How We're Responding To Covid-19


The rapidly changing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is a source of uncertainty for all of us.


While that is true of the moment, life does and will go on! As American’s we have always found a way to overcome and find an approach to adversity that no other nations can boast. I believe as I write this today this too we shall overcome.


I wanted to take a moment to let you know what we are doing to insure the health and safety of our employees and jewelry store partners as that is and will continue to be our top priority.


First, our thoughts, prayers and well wishes got out to all of those personally affected by this. We wish each and every person a speedy recovery and health and well-being. From a business perspective, we are open for business and providing you the great service you’ve come to expect. Honestly, what we are finding, is that business goes on around the country. Our phones are ringing, and our account managers are busy at work filling orders.


But we also are facing and dealing with this national pandemic. We want to ensure you that we are taking the recommended precautions and following the guidelines provided by the CDC, and our local & state municipalities as well as the federal government, to ensure safety and prevention for our clients and staff members, including:


  • Educating and ensuring that our staff is updated on and following the latest health guidelines provided emphasizing frequent handwashing, the use of hand sanitizer and the use of protective equipment, ie, gloves, masks and goggles.
  • Increasing our previous sanitization measures when shipping and receiving our products, by sanitizing and wiping down every single package that enters and exits our building.
  • Increasing the sanitation of our building and its common space, service tools, surfaces and entry/exit doors multiple times per day.
  • Mandating employee distancing and suspending all unnecessary outside visitation until further notice. Including the cancellation of our Spring Buying Retreat that was scheduled for April 19-20th.
  • With that said, while we do not currently expect any shipping delays from the major carriers, but that may change. If it does, don’t worry, our team is prepared to provide updates as they pertain to orders and shipments.
